(a) The district must hold an election in the manner provided by Subchapter L, Chapter 375, Local Government Code, to obtain voter approval before the district may:(1) impose a maintenance tax; or(2) issue a bond payable from ad valorem taxes.(b) The board may include more than one purpose in a single proposition at an election.(c) Section 375.243, Local Government Code, does not apply to the district.
