Texas Legal Code
(a) A director must meet the requirements provided by Section 375.063, Local Government Code.(b) Repealed by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 889, Sec. 11(1), eff. June 19, 2009.(c) A person who owns a partnership interest, whether general or limited, or who has a lease with a remaining term of 30 years or more, excluding options, is considered to be an owner of land for purposes of this chapter.(d) A person who qualifies to serve on the board is qualified to serve as a director and participate in all votes pertaining to the business of the district.
