The mayor and members of the governing body of the City of Houston shall appoint voting directors. A person is appointed if a majority of the members of the governing body, including the mayor, vote to appoint that person. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.03, eff.
