To protect the public interest, the district may contract with a qualified provider, including Harris County or the City of Nassau Bay, to provide law enforcement services in the district for a fee. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 589 (S.B. 1999), Sec. 2, eff. June 16, 2007.
