Regardless of a statute to the contrary, a person who qualifies to serve on the board is qualified to serve as a director and participate in all votes pertaining to the business of the district. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.03, eff. April 1, 2009.
