(a) The following persons serve ex officio as nonvoting directors:(1) an assistant city manager of the city appointed by the city manager of the city;(2) the chief financial officer of the city; and(3) the economic development director of the city.(b) If an office described in Subsection (a) is renamed, changed, or abolished, the governing body of the city may appoint another officer or employee of the city who performs duties comparable to those performed by the officer described by Subsection (a).
