A director is not entitled to compensation but is entitled to reimbursement for necessary expenses, including travel expenses, incurred in performing the duties of a director. If the amount of a director's reimbursement for necessary expenses exceeds $250, the board must approve the reimbursement. Added by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1202 (H.B. 4789), Sec. 1, eff.
