To protect the public interest, the district may contract with a qualified person, including Harris County or the City of Houston, for the provision of law enforcement services in the district for a fee. Added by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1084 (H.B. 4777), Sec. 1, eff. June 19, 2009.
