The mayor and members of the governing body of the city shall appoint voting directors from persons recommended by the board. A person is appointed if the majority of the members of the governing body, including the mayor, vote to appoint that person. Added by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 870 (S.B. 2507), Sec. 1, eff.
