A director is not entitled to compensation for service on the board but is entitled to be reimbursed for necessary expenses incurred in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of a director. Added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1203 (S.B. 233), Sec. 1, eff. June 17, 2011.
