The district has the road project powers provided by Chapter 375, Local Government Code, except that the district may not impose an ad valorem tax under Section 375.0921, Local Government Code. Added by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1308 (H.B. 3914), Sec. 3, eff. September 1, 2013.
