(a) The governing body of Fort Bend County shall appoint voting directors from persons nominated by the board.(b) The governing body of Fort Bend County may reject the nomination of a person by the board for a position as a voting director. If the governing body rejects a nomination, the board shall submit a new nominee for that position until the governing body appoints a director to each position on the board.
