The Katy Management District No. 1 is a special district created under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, as the Harris-Fort Bend Counties Municipal Utility District No. 4. The district is converted to a municipal management district known as the Katy Management District No. 1 under the same constitutional authority. Added by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 4180), Sec. 2, eff. June 18, 2015.
