(a) The district is governed by a board of five elected directors.(b) Except as provided by Section 3943.0204, directors serve staggered terms of four years.(c) Directors are elected in the manner provided by Subchapter D, Chapter 49, Water Code.(d) To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must be a resident of the district.
