§ 3952.052

(a) To be qualified to serve as a director appointed by the governing body of the city, a person must be:(1) a resident of the city who is also a registered voter of the city;(2) an owner of property in the district; or(3) an agent, employee, or tenant of a person described by Subdivision (2).(b) A person who is an agent, employee, or tenant of Hawkins Midlothian Development, LLC, is not qualified to be appointed as a director solely because the person is an agent, employee, or tenant of that corporation if the corporation does not own property in the district.(c) Section 49.052, Water Code, does not apply to the district.
