The district has the powers provided by the general law of this state applicable to navigation districts created under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, including Chapters 60 and 62, Water Code. Added by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 663 (S.B. 2271), Sec. 1, eff. June 12, 2017.
