The Texas State Railroad Authority is a special district created under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, for the development of parks and recreational facilities. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 568 (S.B. 1659), Sec. 1, eff. June 16, 2007.
