(a) The management and control of the district is vested in a board composed of six elected commissioners.(b) Commissioners serve staggered six-year terms, with the terms of two commissioners expiring every two years.(c) The district shall hold an election in the district on the uniform election date in May of each odd-numbered year to elect the appropriate number of commissioners.(d) Notice of an election held under this section must be:(1) signed by the board's presiding officer or secretary; and(2) posted in accordance with Section 4.003(b), Election Code.(e) The board shall declare the results of an election held under this section.
