§ 6610.052

(a) A director must:(1) be at least 18 years of age;(2) be a resident of this state; and(3) own land subject to taxation in the district.(b) A director appointed from a county commissioners precinct must be a resident of the precinct for which the director is appointed.(c) A person is not eligible to serve as a director if the person owes delinquent taxes to San Patricio County.
