(a) The district is governed by a board of 11 directors, each of whom occupies a numbered place on the board.(b) Directors serve staggered two-year terms, with the terms of the directors occupying Places 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 expiring on April 1 of each even-numbered year and the terms of the directors occupying Places 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 expiring April 1 of each odd-numbered year.(c) In March of each year, the Commissioners Court of Coryell County shall appoint directors to succeed directors whose term of office will expire on April 1.
