To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must be:(1) at least 18 years of age;(2) a resident of this state; and(3) an owner of land subject to taxation in the district or a qualified voter of the district. Added by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 51 (S.B. 799), Sec. 2, eff. May 19, 2009.
