(a) Each director shall qualify by giving bond in the amount of $5,000 for the faithful performance of the director's duties.(b) The bond must be:(1) approved by the board; and(2) recorded in the official bond records of the county clerk of Dallas County.(c) Each director shall file the bond as soon as practicable after the director's appointment.
