(a) The board shall issue an order for each directors election stating the time, place, and purpose of the election.(b) Notice of a directors election shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the authority's territory one time at least 30 days before the date of the election.(c) The appropriate number of candidates who receive the highest number of votes shall be declared elected.
