The authority may not issue bonds payable wholly or partly from ad valorem taxes unless the voters of the authority authorize that issuance at an election held for that purpose in the manner prescribed by Section 49.106, Water Code. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1277, Sec. 1, eff. April 1, 2005.
