The authority has all of the rights, powers, privileges, and functions provided by the general laws of this state applicable to municipal utility districts, including Chapter 54, Water Code. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.06, eff. April 1, 2007.
