The district may exercise the power of eminent domain only:(1) in a county in which the district is located; and(2) when necessary to carry out the purposes for which the district was created. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.06, eff. April 1, 2007.
