In this chapter:(1) 'Authority' means the Sulphur River Basin Authority.(2) 'Basin' means the watersheds of the Sulphur River inside the authority's territory as defined by Section 8508.0006.(3) 'Board' means the authority's board of directors.(4) 'Commission' means the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.(5) 'Development board' means the Texas Water Development Board.(6) 'Director' means a board member.(7) 'Public agency' means any government or governmental subdivision or agency.(8) 'State' means the State of Texas or any of its agencies, departments, boards, political subdivisions, or other entities.(9) 'Waste' means sewage, industrial waste, municipal waste, recreational waste, agricultural waste, or waste heat.
