(a) A director is entitled to receive $25 a day and reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred:(1) for each day the director spends attending meetings of the board; and(2) for each day the director spends attending to the business of the authority that is authorized by the board.(b) A director is not entitled to receive a per diem allowance for more than 50 days in a calendar year.(c) In all areas of conflict with Subsection (a) or (b) of this section, Section 49.060, Water Code, takes precedence.(d) A director's compensation may be increased as authorized by Section 49.060, Water Code, by resolution adopted by the board in accordance with Subsection (e) of that section on or after September 1, 1995.
