Not earlier than the 10th day after the date a director receives written notice of a charge against the director, and after an opportunity to be heard in person or through the appearance of counsel at a public hearing on the matter of the charge described by the notice, the board may remove a director for:(1) inefficiency;(2) neglect of duty; or(3) misconduct in office.
