Unless the context otherwise requires, in this chapter:(1) 'Authority' means the Nueces River Authority.(2) 'Board' means the authority's board of directors.(3) 'Commission' means the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.(4) 'Development board' means the Texas Water Development Board.(5) 'Director' means a board member.(6) 'State' means the State of Texas or any of its agencies, departments, boards, political subdivisions, or other entities.(7) 'Waste' means sewage, industrial waste, municipal waste, recreational waste, agricultural waste, waste heat, solid waste, or any other waste.
