Texas Legal Code
(a) A person who is required to convert to surface water under this chapter and who purchases that water supply wholesale from a political subdivision as defined by Section 12.013(b), Water Code, may appeal to the Public Utility Commission of Texas the rates the political subdivision charges to the person. Chapter 12, Water Code, and rules adopted under that chapter apply to an appeal under this section.(b) The Public Utility Commission of Texas shall hear the appeal not later than the 180th day after the date the appeal is filed.(c) The Public Utility Commission of Texas shall issue a final decision on the appeal not later than the 60th day after the date the hearing ends.
