(a) The board may conduct studies and research that the board considers necessary to implement this chapter.(b) The district may collect any information that the board determines is necessary to implement this chapter, including information regarding the use of groundwater, water conservation, and the practicability of recharging a groundwater reservoir.(c) The board may use the services of geologists, hydrologists, licensed engineers, licensed geoscientists, or other expert personnel to accomplish the purposes of this section.
