§ 8834.210

(a) A permit issued under this chapter expires on the first anniversary of the date of issuance, unless the board specifies a different period.(b) To aid the district in the effective and expeditious performance of its duties, the board may issue a permit for a term not to exceed five years if the issuance does not impair the district's ability to control and prevent subsidence in the district.(c) A permit is not a vested right of the permit holder. The board may revoke, suspend, or amend a permit after notice and hearing when reasonably necessary to accomplish the purpose of this chapter.
