§ 8834.215

(a) The board by order may require a person to completely or partially discontinue the use of groundwater by:(1) acquiring an alternative water supply needed to replace the water supply covered by the order; or(2) participating in a groundwater reduction plan or other agreement the board approves as complying with the district's regulatory requirements.(b) The board by order or rule may require a person to reduce groundwater use by eliminating waste or implementing water conservation measures.
