(a) To qualify as a candidate for or serve as director at large, a person must be:(1) at least 18 years of age;(2) a resident of the district; and(3) a registered voter in the district.(b) To be a candidate for or serve as director from a county commissioners precinct, a person must be:(1) at least 18 years of age;(2) a resident of that precinct; and(3) a registered voter of that precinct.
