(a) This chapter prevails over any inconsistent provision of general law.(b) This chapter does not prevail over or preempt a provision of Chapter 8801 of this code or Chapter 36, Water Code, that is being implemented by the subsidence district.(c) The following laws do not apply to the authority:(1) Chapter 36, Water Code;(2) Section 49.052, Water Code; and(3) Sections 49.451-49.455, Water Code.
