(a) The board secretary shall:(1) issue notice of the hearing that includes:(A) the time and place of the hearing; and(B) a description of the territory proposed to be annexed; and(2) post copies of the notice for 15 days before the date of the hearing in:(A) three public places in the district; and(B) one public place in the territory proposed to be annexed.(b) The notice must be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the county one time at least 15 days before the date of the hearing.
