The district is:(1) a conservation and reclamation district under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution;(2) a water control and improvement district; and(3) a municipal corporation. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.12, eff. April 1, 2009.
