In this chapter:(1) 'Board' means the board of directors of the district.(2) 'Director' means a member of the board.(3) 'District' means the Burnet County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1.(4) 'Project' means a program or project authorized by this chapter or general law, to be undertaken inside or outside the boundaries of the district, that is necessary to accomplish the public purposes of the district.
