(a) The district shall use the ad valorem plan of taxation, and taxes imposed by the district shall be on the ad valorem basis.(b) A hearing on a plan of taxation is not required. Added by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 855 (S.B. 1162), Sec. 1.06, eff. April 1, 2017.
