(a) Chapter 2256, Government Code, applies to the district and the investment of district funds and funds under district control.(b) The board may invest bond proceeds in a manner determined by the board or in the manner permitted or required in the proceedings authorizing the issuance of bonds or in the trust indenture securing the bonds.
