(a) As necessary to enhance productivity, the comptroller may employ or contract for the services of accountants, assistants, auditors, clerks, information technology specialists, and investigators to:(1) provide or use the equipment acquired under Subchapter G; and(2) assist with the administration of this code.(b) The comptroller may delegate to persons employed or contracted under this section the power to perform duties as required.
