(a) A declaration of martial law is not required for the implementation of this chapter.(b) This chapter does not limit the authority of the governor to declare martial law and call forth the militia to execute the law. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
