(a) A person commits an offense if the person operates or navigates an aircraft that the person knows is not properly registered under Federal Aviation Administration aircraft registration regulations, 14 C.F.R. Part 47, as those regulations existed on September 1, 1985.(b) An offense under Subsection (a) is a felony of the third degree. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
