A person who is engaged directly or indirectly in a towing, pilot boat, or other business affected by or connected with the performance of the duties of a commissioner of pilots may not be a commissioner of pilots. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
