The consignee of a vessel under the consignee's control shall obtain pilot services for the vessel and shall pay the pilot who pilots the vessel into and out of the port area compensation according to the pilotage rates filed by the board. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
