(a) Department staff shall deliver the department's legislative appropriations request to the commission in an open meeting not later than the 30th day before the date the department submits the legislative appropriations request to the Legislative Budget Board.(b) The commission may adopt the legislative appropriations request in the meeting described by Subsection (a) or in a subsequent open meeting.
