§ 223.101

In this subchapter:(1) 'Highway emergency' means a situation or condition of a designated state highway that:(A) poses an imminent threat to life or property of travelers; or(B) substantially disrupts the orderly flow of traffic and commerce.(2) 'Highway improvement contract' means a contract awarded by the department for the construction, repair, or maintenance of a designated state highway or any part of that highway. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
