(a) The part of U.S. Highway 59 from its intersection with Interstate Highway 45 to its intersection with Interstate Highway 35 is the Senator Lloyd Bentsen Highway.(b) The department shall design and construct memorial markers indicating the highway number, the designation as the Senator Lloyd Bentsen Highway, and any other appropriate information.(c) The department shall erect a memorial marker at each end of the memorial highway and at appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
