HECTOR P. GARCIA MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. (a) The portion of State Highway 286 between State Highway 357 and Interstate Highway 37 in Corpus Christi is designated as Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Highway.(b) The department shall design and construct markers indicating the highway number, the designation as the Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Highway, and any other appropriate information.(c) The department shall erect a marker at each end of the highway and at appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
